Company Overview

Auction Alliance is a focused Southern African auction services group which operates in five independent yet integrated business units. We are experienced at identifying the value in a given asset and monetising it through the auction mechanism. Our mission is to create wealth and value for our clients by providing innovative sales and auction solutions. As pioneers in auctions, we define our own space and constantly strive to find superior solutions for our clients through an uncompromising determination to achieve excellence in everything we undertake. We are constantly on the lookout for opportunities and we stress creativity, innovation and a determination to achieve distinction in all we do.

Our clients cover all sectors including individuals, companies, corporations, government, advisors, financiers and investors and we strive to anticipate the rapidly changing needs of these clients and to constantly develop new and improved auction and asset services to meet their needs.

History

Auction Alliance has evolved from various predecessors involved in the auction, sale and valuation of assets. Our main roots are from Levco Auctions established in 1992 and the merger of Boland Bank Auctions and Seeff Auctions in 1995.  We renamed ourselves Auction Alliance in 1998 and grew substantively by marketing auctions as first choice method of sale and launched numerous market innovations resulting in profit growth of 600% over the last five years.

In nearly two decades of leading and stimulating markets we have been at the forefront of the South African auction industry and we have grown into the country's largest auction house.

Many of the innovations which today are regarded as industry standards were developed by Alliance Blues.  As pioneers in auctions, we have always defined our own space and we have constantly found superior solutions for our clients through an uncompromising determination to achieve excellence in everything we undertake.

Throughout the years we have built loyal client relationships by adding value and our clients regard us as reliable and trusted long term partners. Since inception  one of our most cherished values, we exist for our clients, has been paramount and we have ranked our clients at the top of our organisation.

Corporate Social Investment

As a South African-based head office we have a duty to restore balance and help those less fortunate than ourselves.

At Alliance we have many social investment projects we are currently involved in.

One of the most dear to us is Project Tsojana. This is our biggest long-term project. Tsojana is the name of an Eastern Cape village 200km north of East London, whose school is the beneficiary of this venture. Tsojana is home to about 500 people, with large families living in small huts with very little food. With no electricity until recently and very little clean water, the people of Tsojana are indeed worthy beneficiaries.

We have raised in excess of R550 000 to date and plan to raise more funds with a view to creating better lives for the people of Tsojana.

"I was initially skeptical about selling the property due to the low value and the state that the property was in. I was, however, pleasantly surprised and amazed at the number of people attending the auction. This must be an indication that the pre-arrangements for the auction were well attended to and that the advertisements were well placed.
As previously mentioned, on the day of the auction everything was very professional and to cap it all, to my surprise, a property that I felt wouldn't fetch R 200 000 was sold in excess of R 560 000…
……In closing I would like to thank Mark for handling the auction in the manner that he did and look forward to a long and mutual beneficial working relationship between FNB Trust Services and yourselves."

    Dear Rael,
In my personal capacity, I am the Executor for the above Estate.
Through the good offices of Banard Katzef & Associates, I arranged for the auction of the residential property of the above Estate to be undertaken by your firm, Alliance Group.
Your firm was represented by Bradley Stephens who I met for the first time when arrangements were first entered into. The auction was successfully held last month and I have confirmed the sale.
Originally I had been concerned by the valuation supplied by your firm which I initially had challenged. This matter was professionally and politely handled by your staff and I am today satisfied  that the correct selling price was in fact realised.
Bradley was at all times very efficient and competent. It was a pleasure to have dealt with him. He was always approachable and friendly.
I thank you and you firm for the good service and trust that we have occasion to do business again."

    Dear Eli and Team,

I wanted to write this mail to thank you for all your efforts that you put into selling our properties today on Auction. From the get go you were a joy to deal with, your thirty minute telephonic proposal when it must have been midnight in SA, your weekly email updates and finally your call yesterday with the GREAT news!

I have dealt with realtors my whole life, it was nice to finally deal with ones that honor their promises, people who follow up so well, respectable business people. I look forward to meeting you and your colleges who run this brilliant organisation.

I don't need to tell you how efficient you all are but it is great to experience such professionalism these days. I know that we must arrange a lunch but in the mean time thanks again for everything."

    Dear Team Alliance!
Many thanks for the excellence you showed throughout the process of the auctioning of my property, and the kind attention you paid me during this time, particularly on the day of the auction.
Rael, thank you for the assurance that you gave me as to protecting and keeping my property secure. Your words to me and my family on that day were comforting and inspired great confidence in the Alliance Group.
Joff, your constant attention to me was much appreciated. The sympathy and concern you showed me from the time of Radomir's death has been of great comfort to me. I know that you went above and beyond the line of duty in so many ways. I especially appreciate your and the company's generosity in carrying the advertising costs for the auction. The helicopter ride and lunch at the Westcliff Hotel, that you organised, were really the cherry on top! May God richly bless you!
Mark, your interest in and understanding of my situation, in spite of having to take over at practically the last minute, and your anxiety that all should go well at the auction, was very heartwarming and much appreciated. Thank you!
Shaie, I had every confidence in your ability to see the situation clearly, for what it was. You inspired trust in your sound judgment and provided the re-assurance that I needed. Thank you for your involvement!
It has been a pleasure associating with Alliance Group in this matter, and I would have no hesitation in recommending your services to others. Many thanks again for the excellent service!"
